Global Assessment Report On Disaster Risk Reduction: GAR.
The Global Assessment Report on Disaster Risk Reduction (GAR) is the flagship report of the United Nations on worldwide efforts to reduce disaster risk. The GAR is published biennially by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), and is the product of the contributions of nations, public and private risk-related science and research, amongst others.
The Asia-Pacific Disaster Report (APDR) is a biennial publication of the Information and Communications Technology and Disaster Risk Reduction Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The reports aim to deepen understanding of disaster risks and their implications on sustainable development in the Asia-Pacific region.
International Journal of Disaster Risk Science
International Journal of Disaster Risk Science (IJDRS) is a fully sponsored, peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It addresses theoretical and methodological issues in all areas of disaster risk science, policy, and practice.
Applied Environmental Education & Communication
The journal presents the latest developments in the fields of environmental social marketing, environmental journalism, environmental education, sustainability education, environmental interpretation, and environmental health communication. It also examines environmental initiatives in governmental and corporate public awareness, public relations and outreach, behavioral science, interpersonal and mass media, and worldwide education and communication campaigns.
Australian Journal of Environmental Education
An internationally refereed journal which publishes papers and reports on all aspects of environmental education. It presents information and argument which stimulates debate about educational strategies that enhance the kinds of awareness, understanding and actions which will promote environmental and social justice.
Journal of Geoscience Education
The Journal of Geoscience Education is open to all manuscripts related to learning and teaching in geoscience and related domains. Learning and teaching are broadly construed to include all types of learning, as well as all settings in which learning can occur. Geoscience includes all Earth-related fields, including geology, oceanography, atmospheric science and meteorology, climate science, environmental science, and planetary science, among others, while related fields extend beyond the geosciences to other scientific disciplines, mathematics, and engineering, as well as the social and behavioral sciences and the humanities.
Geoenvironmental Disasters is an international journal with a focus on multi-disciplinary applied and fundamental research and the effects and impacts on infrastructure, society and the environment of geoenvironmental disasters triggered by various types of geo-hazards (e.g. earthquakes, volcanic activity, landslides, tsunamis, intensive erosion and hydro-meteorological events).
